Privacy Policy

1. Overview

EasyTax Receipt ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how EasyTax Receipt handles information when you use our mobile application available on iOS and Android.

By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

EasyTax Receipt collects the absolute minimum necessary to function:

• Receipt data — vendor name, amount, date, category, notes, and optional receipt photo. This data is stored only on your device using a local SQLite database.
• App preferences — whether you have completed onboarding. Stored locally as a flag file on your device.
• Camera permission — requested only when you choose to scan a receipt. Photos are saved to your device storage only; they are not uploaded anywhere.

None of the above data is sent to us, our servers, or any backend service.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or process any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or any account credentials
• Your location or GPS data
• Device identifiers (IDFA, GAID, etc.) for advertising purposes
• Usage analytics or crash diagnostics beyond what the OS provides
• Financial account information or payment card details
• Any data from your contacts, calendar, or other apps

EasyTax Receipt does not require you to create an account, and no user profile of any kind is created or maintained.

4. Third-Party Services

EasyTax Receipt integrates one third-party service:

• RevenueCat — used solely to manage in-app purchase entitlements (Premium plan). RevenueCat may collect a pseudonymous user identifier and purchase receipt data to verify subscription status. It does not receive your receipt content, financial records, or any personal information stored in the app. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

No advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking libraries are included in EasyTax Receipt.

5. In-App Purchases

Premium subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). EasyTax Receipt does not handle, store, or have access to your payment information.

Purchase history and subscription status are verified through RevenueCat using an anonymous identifier. See Section 4 for details.

To manage or cancel your subscription:

• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
• Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

6. Children's Privacy

EasyTax Receipt is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
